New remix by R3hab of Adrian Lux’s latest hit “Fire”. I quite like this one, not too overdone, not so heavy. It’s just right.

Whats even better than Dillon Francis releasing his newest EP, “Something, something, awesome”, a free download of his 2.0 version of “I.D.G.A.F.O.S”. We loved the original and are big fans of Dillon’s work. Also check out is latest collaboration with Kill the Noise, “Dill the Noise”.

There’s been a few remixes of this track popping up recently, including a dubstep remix, however I much prefer pyramid’s version. Pyramid brings quite a tranquil electro feel to his songs, and has been much loved by the Starnums team ever since his Caribou -“sun” remix. If you haven’t heard that track its definitely worth a listen.

Pretty Lights… how could I resist.

According to Smith, “…the creation of this track and video is also an artistic explanation as to why I chose the name ‘Pretty Lights’ for my musical project. It embodies the essence of the artistic eye and the idea that almost any moment, anywhere, can be a moment of inspiration and beauty.”

For me this almost sounds like what a photographer may say, but in reality this “artistic eye” can be extended across all media platforms. Those who may not know, Pretty Lights does not just create songs with an all electronic feel(“I know the truth”), but rather describes his music as “electrohiphopsoul”.

“We must go on” embodies this self-made genre perfectly and exhibits what Pretty Lights is all about.

This was originally played in a 2009 sbtrkt mix, however its only been officially released now. Love the mellow beat, loving summer(when its not raining that is), and keep enjoying your holidays.

It seems like whenever Kaskade decides to upload a new mashup, I feel inclined to post his track. It almost seems like a Starnums Standard. However, if you do listen to it, you’ll understand why. Hope everyone had a great new years and we’ll see you soon.
